"The instructor provided very thorough and detailed slide material that made it very easy to study from. The course itself was structured very well and the mark distributions felt fair for the amount of work needed to complete. The instructor is very engaging and it was very noticeable that they wanted the class to succeed. They provided a very thorough review both times before the two inclass midterms that were done in a fun engaging way and promoted classroom participation. The instructor also helped to liven up the class and make it a collaborative environment."
"I like the format of the lectures and lecture slides and the seminar and short talks were enjoyable deliverables."
"Dr Williams is an excellent instructor and offered a lot of insight into the topic material. The classes were poignant, though kind of brief at points. The labs were also really great and were straightforward, allowing a lot of practice using programming software to accomplish the goals stated."
"Clear communication, available content, review sessions."
"Everything; including but not limited to the grade distribution, weekly tests, short talks and seminars as they help with active involvement in the course."
"She provides a lot of room within the course to pursue your topic of interest within Biomedical engineering, and I appreciate that."
"Posting slides on D2L. Trivia style review class before tests."
"I like how we do videos on Wednesday and have little quizzes on them. I also like how the last part of the course was mostly seminars." / "Video and quizzes."
